Lamea Abuelrous founded temos in 2014 on the corner of 24th and Harrison. The menu includes an orange blossom latte and homemade falafel, the syrups are made in house, and in December 2024 the cafe's roasts included an anaerobic natural from Ethiopia.
Pink plaster walls, a burgundy ribbed-panel counter and an Arabic line painted on the wall fill the high-ceilinged corner room, with plants on shelves and hanging from the ceiling. Tall windows on two sides face the street, and benches line the sidewalk wall outside.
