The San Francisco Chronicle's 2025 Bay Area coffee guide singled out the cortado. In October 2026 the shop's website names a Chiapas lot from Mexico and dry-process lots from Guji in Ethiopia and from Burundi.
The shop is one long room running back from 24th Street, with exposed timber beams overhead and a timber-clad counter along the left wall. Glass doors at the far end open onto a walled courtyard of timber tables and built-in benches, and the courtyard shows from the street door through the whole length of the room. Customers work on laptops at the tables and on a leather sofa.
