Owner Dee started the cafe in 2020 in the former Four Barrel space. As of July 2026 it serves Bird and Bear Coffee, and Eater's January 2026 guide named Captain + Stoker beans. Cups are compostable, and used grounds go to The Green Between Garden for hot compost.
The former Four Barrel space is a concrete-walled garage-style room open to the sidewalk through two doorways. Its ceiling is a vault of end-grain wood blocks between exposed concrete beams, and a freestanding steel counter and espresso bar stand at the back beside a spiral staircase. A side courtyard has a mural.
