Ferry Building

About

A. Page Brown's Beaux-Arts ferry terminal opened in 1898 and came through the 1906 and 1989 earthquakes with little damage. A 245-foot clock tower rises above it, and a 2002 restoration turned the 660-foot Great Nave into a food marketplace.
